Sexual Urges (yay or nay) 🤔

You know there's a 'sincere' pleasure that emanates from sex, especially when the act is performed with somebody that you love, and not someone you are paid to have it with.

Sex is something that not only transcends in the physical realm, but also in the spiritual realm.

It is an established fact that a lot of us do have sexual urges (S.U), and they are just fine the way they are, in fact it is a sign that you are normal!

I had a counselling session with a young man, and he opened up and confided in me about his really ‘intense’ sexual urges, which later led him into(pornography, masturbation, etc.) in a bid to satisfy those urges, which is wrong by  the way....

And as a result of that, he thought he was abnormal, because the whole thing i.e 'the feelings' were so intense for him.

I had to assure him that the fact that he experienced all this S.U, only affirmed the fact that he was indeed normal, because this are things that God has put in us, so that at the RIGHT time, it can be put into good use😉😉

Since I have established the fact that it is normal to have sexual urges, my question now to you is: what do you do when you have those urges? 

For those ladies that have teddy bears, is that the time when you lie on your bed, hug your teddies, and let those urges supress you? And for the guys when you have those really hard erections, is that the period when you want to be alone, and let those urges overpower you?!

Ladies that is the time when you stand up, shake it off, go gist with your girls, read a novel, jog, pray, watch a movie, take a shower, anything to take your mind off that ministry biko (please)

Guys that is the time to go disturb your guy, play FIFA, jog, pray, take a shower, go to the gym and lift some weight, anything to take your mind off it mbok (please)

Sweetheart purity before God is not something to be compromised, even God said marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled.

Most of the time, people complain that the temptations are extreme and they can’t overcome, but friends have you forgotten in 1Corinthians 10:13 that Jesus clearly stated that there hath no temptation that has taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 

This simply confirms that there is nothing that you claim you are going through now, that someone hasn’t gone through, and come out SUCCESSFUL! 

And one thing I know about God dear is that he honours his word more than his name. God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.

There's always this talk of body no be fire-wood, well sorry to burst your bubble, just so you know that if your body carries the 'Fire of the Word', you can speak to that body, and bring it under Subjection to the obedience of His word.

And even if you have made a mistake, and you feel so dirty that God can never Like someone like you, well guess what?  you are absolutely right, because he can only Love someone like you dear! 

You have to let go of your past, or you go with it. Where you are right now, is not who you are. You are a special, amazing, and beautiful person, and you must not give up on ‘you’ no MATTER the MATTER!

We are daily confronted with temptations, we win some, we lose some, but guess what? We don’t give up because God has not given up on us.

Dear friends, you have to face your past without regrets, handle your present with confidence, and prepare for your future without fear. I love you.
