The Power of Vision

You know someone said the worst thing that can ever happen to a person is not losing your Sight, but losing your Vision. 

Your Vision is in direct proportion to your Purpose for Existence, the Essence for your Presence and the reason why God has thought it good for you to be in this world at such a time as now.

Vision is something you see or imagine in your mind. 

A picture(future) you envisage in your mind.

You know whenever I consider someone like Fanny Crosby who was a powerful song writer in the early 20th century. 

Fanny was a woman who lost her Sight, but never her Vision.

I know it is a little deep, but please take a little time to unravel it..

Fanny was a Sight-Less woman, but also a Vision-Full woman who was used by God to compose a lot of beautiful hymns that we still sing today. 

Hymns like Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine ,To God be the glory great things He has done, Pass me not o gentle saviour etc, were written by her because she had an understanding/knowledge of her purpose which was what propelled her to make a remarkable impact on her generation which eventually outlived her despite her supposed disability.

This just reminds me of the saying that goes like this What Lives after we live is what really matters.

In other words Live to Leave an impact.

You know this post reminds me of the request I have been reminding Abba for sometime now, and that is Father please place something upon my life that my Generation would never recover from.

The good Lord placed something over her life that her Generation never recovered from and she ran with it (Vision).

 

The way you run with your vision after you have discovered it determines the level of Landmarks you will be able to achieve..

This woman died in 1915 which is over a hundred years ago yet her Purpose outlived her.

 Fanny could see the big picture, as well as others who lost their sight but never their vision such as Cobham Asuquo, E-Daniels amongst others.  

Whatever you're doing, please ensure that you never cease to see the big picture dear one.

Never forget that It is not the Years in your Life that matters, but instead it is the Life in  those Years that Counts!

Also remember that your Life is God's gift to you, and whichever way you decide to Live it is your gift back to God.

I pray this prayer again for every one that reads this post that God would place something over our Lives that our Generation and Generations to come would never recover from... Amen.
